Will be going to Manchester Airport to collect a relative. Do they have disabled parking? Do blue badge holders have to pay to park?

1) Yes they do - short stay car park outside building/or in multistorey - not seperate, just reserved spaces
2) Yes they have to pay - £1.80 for 30 minutes if I remember from last week.

I'm not trying to provoke here, but why do blue badge holders get free parking? Preferential spaces I can understand, but why free?

I think the free part of the disabled parking was for those disabled drivers who are unable to reach a normal hight ticket machine, i.e. Those in a wheelchair.
