He'd better watch out as some unscrupulous builder could
1) Over estimate the cost of the job
2) Do work that is strictly not needed
3) Add on extras at the bottom of the bill that were not in the original estimate
4) Fail to complete the work as stated.
5) Inflate the cost of repairs as it is an insurance job
This could come as a shock to any BMW Service Manager so he /she must really be careful and be on the lookout for such trading practices.

That's a totally unwarranted slur on the building trade. Unscrupulous builders are very much in the minority and the chance of someone employing one such is very small.
