Vauxhall - Brava Timing Belt warning indicator light.

Brava Timing Belt warning indicator light. - bardi

I've been told by the Main Dealer that the whole dashboard need to be removed to gain access to the "Turn Off" switch for the Timing Belt warning light on my Vauxhall Brava/Isusu TF Pick UP.

Does any one know a short cut?

if its the same as an isuzi then you only take the speedo head out-------

some of these have a switch that you slide across just needs the dash surround removing if no switch then they are easily removed and all you do is move a screw on the rear of the dash unit from one hole to another

The Main Dealer mentioned a switch that needs to be activated. But quoted 1 1/2 hours labour to carry this out.

Any idea whether the speedo cowling alone needs to be removed, and does the steering wheel need removing to achieve this?
