Does anyone know where the alarm siren on my grand scenic is located? I intend to fit a louder alarm siren as the renault one is frankly pathetic; it can barely be heard in the house!!!!
My car is a Grand Scenic 2.0T privilege

just set it off and follow your ears - no-one other than the owner ever pays any attention to a car alarm anyway.

And yes, it is true that no-one pays attention, however, i, myself cannot hear it. Perhaps there's a problem with mine!?

Sorry, the Haynes manual is no help:
"No information was available for the alarm system at time of writing."
I know what you mean though, the alarm is carp. Ours was going off outside our open window (it seems I hadn't latched the bonnet properly) and it took one of our neighbours who happened to be walking past to knock on the door and let us know.
