Peugeot 106 immobiliser - escortgti
Hi All,

I am after some help i have with a problem with my wife's 106 diesel.
I went to start it yesterday but when i put in the four digit immobiliser code both green and red lights stayed on, can these units totally pack up or is it more likely to be a wiring fault? also is there a way to by pass it and do away with it altogether?

Thanks,

Maretz

This fault on the 106 is often caused by poor contact at the large engine bay multiplug which is to be found low down at the nearside front of underbonet area.If you wish to dispense with the keypad, once you get the engine running simply unplug the keypad before switching off the ignition. You will no longer need to enter the code unless you suffer a flat battery, you may then need to reconnect keypad and reenter code.

Thanks very much for that info David i will check that out tomorrow and hopefully get it going again and will definatley be doing away with the key pad to save this hassle again
