The doors on my Peugeot 306 (1999) deadlock themselves.
It doesn't matter if you manually open them or use the key fob, in a few seconds they deadlock themselves.
Numerous other posts about doors unlocking themselves seem to point at problems with the wiring loom wearing out. Could this be the same thing?
Any ideas please?

Does a 306 have an autolock function? I have a 1999V GLX and it doesn't auto lock, it's two presses of the button to lock and then deadlock, and a single press on the other button to unlock.
Do they deadlock, or just re lock? What happens if someone is inside? at the time?
Sorry I can't be more helpful, only other thing I can think of is that your lock button on the key is very sensitive. Have you tries using the other key and keeping the current one out of range?
