Pug 306 underbonnet keyhole - cabsmanuk

My 95 306 has a keyhole under the bonnet on the nearside corner. What is it for? I don't have a key that fits so I can't give it a try.

That 306 advert makes reference to having the keys for an alarm isolator under the bonnet, so it could be that?

it's usually to turn off the siren, doesn't disable the alarm just silences the siren

Yep. So that the lights can flash all night without waking you but leaving a flat battery for the morning. Great!
