Guy at work is immigrating to oz has offered me has 2001 51 zafira 1.8 comfort, mot and taxed for 6 months with service history he says its in good shape but its green and done 115k he wants £2800 but i reckon he would take £2500. (It wouldn?t be doing many miles from now on approx 8k a year). I was looking at getting perhaps a newer 2.2 or 1.8 elegance is there much difference in spec, do you think this is a good deal.

From memory, confort to elegance gets you alloys, rear electric windows, electric sunroof, check control, trip computer - it probably changed from year to year though, to some degree.

What Car gives £2480 private sale value for that age, spec & mileage
|
This is because the algorithm What Car? uses for mileage adjustment is deeply flawed and inaccurate.

thanks guys, its not really a bargain then, i think i'll wait,
and get a higher spec zaf, with less miles.
(a car with wheel trims, how quaint,
last one i had was my old uno back in the 80's).
cheers.

(a car with wheel trims how quaint
Some of the Vauxhalls now have fake alloys that are actually wheel trims. (called "structure wheels"). Unless you look closely, you wouldn't spot the difference.
