Peugeot 1994 306XL starts then stops

Peugeot 1994 306XL starts then stops - bob w
The car was working fine one day, the next day I tried starting it, it starts then stops. Something is cutting the electrical supply to the fuel pump after 3 seconds. Please can some one help?
