I noticed that someone has carelessly jacked my car up in the past as the schutz and paint has been damaged and scraped back. (There's also a dent but I guess nothing can be done about that)
What will the best thing be to repair this? Can you re-apply schutz or will it need to be paint?
I was thinking of using silver Hammerite or maybe ordering some POR15 but any advice would be welcome. Repairing car bodywork confuses me, so many different materials and methods...

Usually the sill flange gets bent over. Knock it straight again. Leave the dent. POR-15 is only needed if there is a lot of rust. It is very messy to use and has to be overpainted (UV light causes it to degrade).
Personally I would give a coat of zinc primer is bare metal is exposed and then overpaint with Hammerite smooth. If no bare metal then just a coat of Hammerite.
You could re-apply Shutz and overpaint - depends how much car is worth and how much bother you want to go to.

Cheers Aprilia!
Car is not worth all that much (But a fair amount for me) - I just loathe rust with a passion.
