My daughters insurance is due, as she had an accident last year which has cost her the no claims bonus she is looking at other companies on line. The stumbling block for a quote is the question being asked -how much did the repairs cost and any injury claims? She knows how much her own vehicle cost but is the insurance company going to release such details of the other party? I quess I can only aske the question but till tommorow when we can phone has anyone else experianced this situation?

I recently tried moneysupermarket.com, and found their serviceto be very helpful. As I haven't had any accidents in the last 5 years, that wasn't applicable, but I did find a much lower quote than I expected from one of the companies listed.

She was using confused.com which asked the above qustion she put in the max figure allowed as she did not know the correct figure and still cut the original quote by 2/3.
