Hi all, yes its me again looking for a ford ka. i have the chance of one. it is on a 03 plate, 2 lady owners from new (both sisters) Genuine 13,400 miles with full main dealer service history. Its a 1.3i in black with P.A.S. Does £3,000 ish seem like a good buy ? Cheers all, Graham.

I wouldn't.
That mileage is too low for a four year old car.
3k a year of stop-start, shopping cart driving for that long and the problems will be starting to surface.
That, and the fact that that engine isn't the greatest for cold-starts anyway as they get older, which will be made worse by all the sludge in the engine through the short runs, nah. Not with my money.
If you can go to £3000, why not go to £5000 and buy a new one? You'll get the balance of your cash back when you come to sell -- these cars hold their value really well given what they go for new, as demonstrated here -- 40% of value lost in four years.

What Car's tables show only just over £2,000 for an 03-registered Ka Style.
Maybe have a look on Autotrader.
