BMW advert - Tim Allcott
Anyone catch it in today's Observer? (Page 4) Presumably in other press also: Its a voice activated instant messaging system that flashes up a message to other drivers (the example given is "MOVE OVER please") onto the windscreen in mirror text so it can be read in the preceding driver's rear view mirror and it's to be fitted as standard on all 5 series from today. The acronyms are particularly illuminating. If anyone rings for further details of the system, please let me know what the response is...

I was wondering what this year's April Fools joke from BMW was going to be. They've been doing it every year for a while now.

I would be ineterested to know how many serious enquiries BMW dealers get from thrusting young execs. demanding that this new option be retro-fitted to their shiny 3-series.
