Scorpio Ultima Mirror - Gerry Power
The automatic dipping rear view mirror [interior] in my Scorpio estate seems to be losing a sort of film over the lens.
The cost of a new one from Ford is about £115 plus VAT.
Any knowledge of a good second hand one would be greatfully appreciated.

I had exactly the same on mine a month ago. Go to the local scrappy and get one for about £20. Remove the interior light and drop part of the headlining by undoing a single screw to get at the plug. Make sure that you get the mirror with lead and plug attached. Simple to do. Good luck

You can buy new mirrors that simply stick on over the old one, try Halfords for a start.
