206 side airbag question

206 side airbag question - LeePower
Hi

2003 multplexed Pug 206 GLX with twin front airbags, a mate of mine has an 2004 Pug 206 XSI with the sports interior & he is getting the half leather GTI interior from another mate to fit in to his XSI ( who is in turn getting the GTI 180 interior for his 206 ) still following this so far?

Ive been offered first refusal on the XSI interior at a very good price, question I am asking is the XSI interior has side airbags in the seats whereas my GLX doesn't.

Ive already checked the SRS wiring loom on my car & its there up until the middle of each sill, So in theory if I fitted the XSI seats & got the 2 short pieces of loom to connect to my cars original loom that would connect them up, I also need the BSI configuration set up adjusted but I would also need to change the airbag control unit under the front ashtray, now there's a few for sale on a certain auction website, ive asked the sellers if they are suitable for front & side airbags but they dont have a clue, is there anyway of telling by the identification numbers on the units if they are suitable for what im after?

The Peugeot parts cd rom isnt much help either as the Peugeot part number isnt on the unit.
