'97 Nissan Mistral - water in footwell? - Cornish Lass
My dad has a '97 Mistral (Terrano import) and has developed a very soggy carpet in the passenger side footwell. He took it in for service 2 weeks back and the garage poked around and cleared some drainage holes, but this hasn't solved the problem. The rain comes in even when the car is stationery, so its not flying from the wheels. I suggested the plastic door membranes could have failed as I had this on a previous car. He says he has sat in the car in pouring rain and cannot see anything coming in at base of the door cards.

Anyone suggest where to look? Do Terranos/Mistrals have any particular problems here?
