citroen zx 1.9td - something loose??? - gtired
hi, i have a citroen zx 1.9td volcane. The problem i have with it is when your going about 30 mph plus and you go round a right hand bend the front of the car seems to dig in and pull you severely to that side, it's quite scary as i nearly lost the car twice on a bend. i have checked underneath and can't seem to see anything adrift!! can you help??? some one said possible wheel bearing or ball joint??

Get the front end checked before you kill yourself or worse-someone else.

Knackered damper, broken sping, broken sub frame mount, loose wheel...... could be any of a myriad of things. Get it down the garage PDQ before, as jc2 says, it all goes Pete Tong. Local MOT station might give it a look over for the price of a pint if the ramp is not busy....

Is it illogical? It must be Citroen....

If you have noticed a rattle from the front when you corner a right hand bend over a bad surface or pot holes or noticed any uneven tyre wear recently, then I'd check the ball joints on the wishbone to the strut. These are replacable as a kit.

Had a similar problem with a Cortina many years ago.
