Peugeot 306 D Turbo spec

Peugeot 306 D Turbo spec - Chuffer Dandridge
I'm contemplating buying a 306 diesel (currently have a 106 diesel). The D Turbo model is the highest spec. I know how it has sports seats and slightly more bhp, but how else does it differ from the other turbo diesel models?

I don't think you get any more horses - the XUD was 90 BHP in later spec, as was the HDi that replaced it. I don't think they did a 110 HDi 306 (they did a Xsara though) - could be wrong. It's probably got slightly lower and stiffer suspension (a la ZX Volcance), eleccy windows, sunroof etc.

The D Turbo spec is exactly the same as the XSi spec i.e. lower suspension, alloys, sports seats, front fogs and the like and are mainly 3 door models, but obviously with the 1.9TD XUD engine. The D Turbo is certainly no different in terms of performance to the XLdt, XRdt etc as the 1.9TD is only available in 92bhp form but is usually more expensive to buy. The HDi common rail diesel is only available in 90bhp form also and performance is pretty similar to the 1.9TD, but with better fuel economy.
