Do you realy need this car?

I think general wisdom is not to buy a car from the Channel Islands as it will have suffered from the salt air and never being properly run-in / used, due to the 40 mph speed limit.

It may be very low milage, but it will be the wrong sort of miles, i.e short journeys, never getting properly warmed-up.

You will need the Type approval number (make sure its is available) pay 10% import duty and then 17.5%VAT on the total +first reg fee(£38)+ the road tax that is applicable to your car.Bear in mind Customs also like their 10% and 17.5% of any shipping costs. All easy enough, just a bit of form filling and maybe paper chasing.
