Hi all seasons greetings etc. I have on my drive acting as a shed! one of these it's mechanicaly 100% The body is beyone real economic repair I want to get rid next year and buy a later model will the engine from this one fit later ones directly?
I know it won't fit the latest ones but up to say model year 2000?
My question realy is it worth keepin the engine and box as a spare for a later model or possibly buy a later one with dodgy engine?

if its in good fettle by all means keep it
be aware its pre immobilisor so if you fit it ito something that might be stolen consider an after market immobilisor
his engine will have the plastic airfilter box yes?
just a few horesepower slower than the later model then

Yes OM it has the plastic airfilter box funny enough it has a after market immobiliser fitted
