Hi,
Hopefully someone can offer me some advice on this. I recently bought a mondeo zetec (05, 23k miles) and noticed a tendency (albeit slight) for the car to drift to the left. I have had the tracking done, which improved it slightly.
Car is on standard 16" alloys, with newish (2-3k miles) kumho tyres fitted. Tyre pressures are correct.
Is this a normal attribute of the car? Btw, the power steering feels heavier than my previous Leon tdi - is this another characteristic?
I asked the guy who did the tracking whether there appeared to be any suspension damage to the car - everything looked fine according to him.
Your responses are appreciated.

Possibly the rear wheel alignment wants adjusting, although it shouldn't do on a car this old, unless it's been kerbed or hit a pothole hard.

Four wheel laser alignment IRO £35, if adjustment needed go back to dealer who sold the car, and ask for a contribution, perhaps a set of mats.

Try swapping the front wheels side-to-side and see whether the car then pulls to the right.
I had this problem on an XR3i and it was cured by the supplying dealer fitting a new set of tyres of a different make under warranty.

Got the tyre place to swap the front and back wheels this morning - guess what - it sorted out the problem!
I'll be glad when these tyres are worn down - by that time I might be able to afford to replace them for something decent.
Thanks to everyone for the replies.
