Time for a game of spot the numpty. After a bit of exuberant DIY, despite my best efforts I now have spots of undercoat over the car. What is the best way to remove these? Thinners and T-cut, or patience, long fingernails and elbow grease?
Don't be too hard on me please . . . . . .;->

car?
solid colour or metallic?
year of car?
what type of paint is the undercoat?

04 plate Primera and 03 plate A4. Both metallic

Was the undercoat oil based, or water based?
If it were me, first I would try white spirits, followed by a good polish / wax afterwards, regardless of sucess or not.
You can get t-cut that is specifically made for metallic. Go careful with it though, otherwise you'll remove the laquer that's covering the metallic paint. Again, a good polish / wax afterwards.

A clay bar will remove these a treat, Halfords sell the Meguires Quick Clay kit.
You will be amazed at what it removes!!

Yep, a clay bar should shift it.
Follow the instructions carefully.
Don´t drop it on your gravel driveway (if you have one....).
