Hi there.
I have a Fiat Brava 1.6 sx which has a CD player and a kenwood 6disk auto changer in the boot. I was wondering how easy/dificult it would be to re mount this in the front passenger footwell?
has anyone any experience doing this? Any help you can give would be much appreciated.
kind regards

I wouldnt bother James. The old addage "If it aint broke dont fix it " springs to mind.
In the boot its well out of the way and less likely to be subject to shock and bump than it would be if you put it in the foot well

In the boot its well out of the way and ...
Out of sight from prying eyes.

Its easy, you just unplug it and move it to the new location, pull the cable back to the new location and plug it in.
There wil be sort of bracket and fixing you will need to move as well, and your cable will now be too long and will need to be coiled up.
I give your changer about 6 months before it breaks if you put it in the footwell tho. It wil get kicked, it will get dirty and it will get cooked by the heater. Its in the boot for a reason.

I`ve got mine under the passenger seat. Glue a strip of velcro to the carpet under the seat, and the other "side" of the velcro to the base of the unit.Had mine done like this for years with no probs.
< All the way up to six if I have to..and maybe faster than you>
