I have a 95 N reg Peugeot 306 XRDT with a keypad style immobiliser and no alarm.
I followed the instructions in the manual to change the pin code but it seems to have locked it, when you input the new code or the original code both the read and green light come on and it doesn't start. The manual says wait 1 minute then try again but still no joy.
Any ideas what I have done and more importantly, how do I fix or bypass it??
Any help would be great as this car is my new pride and joy!!

im sure its a lot longer than a minute if you have locked it, half an hour i think?.

Well i've just got home from work and still no joy.
i turn the ignition 2 clicks, the red light comes on, i input the code then 1 second later the green light comes on too and nothing happens, the car turns over but no joy.

No idea as to these cars but you might have to leave the ignition on for 30 minutes. When our radio locked itself in our old Mondeo - it displayed "SAFE 30" and needed the ignition on for this time before we could try again.

im not sure this will help but on a saxo with the same keypad we had the same problem. 2 autoelectritions later they couldnt fix it. I unplugged the stop/start solenoid lead and plugged it back in again and it sorted it!
When the immobilizer locks out on the saxo it shoots the stop solenoid out to stop fuel passing to the pump. Unplugging it made it go back to where it should be.
Not sure if this will help but maybe worth a go?

Cool, i'll give that one a go, one thing, what does the stop/start solenoid lead look like?
Did you have to do that every time you wanted to start the car?

On the PSA keypad immobiliser if BOTH the red & green led come on together it means theres a fault.
Normally is a dodgy connection in the large round grey electrical connector behind the passenger side headlamp.
Just wait till you see how really awful the design is when you unplug it.

You need to leave your ignition on for 30 min but every time it fails the time increases by a half hour
