I have decided one of the above is a good buy for us as a second car, can anyone point me in the direction of a good deal.

Aircon is the only spec I require, second hand fine or new depends on the deal.

Only driven the Aygo, for a week as a hire car, 5 door, loved it, my wife thought the interior spec a bit tacky. Try each for a week by hiring them and decide for yourself, it will save you a fortune long term by getting what you want, rather than what others may prefer

Thanks wotspur, excellent idea where can I hire one?

After you have had a drive of one check out what offers & the differences in spec between the 3 models you can get hold of.

Also remember that Citroen cash back deals are always on offer.

I live in Weybridge Surrey- Affordable car rentals in Frimley £115/wk,otherwise ring up all your local rental places and ask what they have, if they're similar prices for a weeks trial in total it might only cost around £350 it might answer your queries and long term save a fortune

Given that they ARE the same car (except cosmetically), is it really worth hiring all three?

Dealers "should" be able to give you a hire car for a day if you push for it.

I've been looking at an Aygo Sport, cheapest deal I've seen is from DrivetheDeal at ~£6950, almost £800 off list.

Saturday Telegraph's 'Mr Money' article on sub-superminis reckoned C1 was the one to go for, but based on price mainly.
