I have a 406 2.1 TD
Engine starts but there's no acceleration,
Any ideas?

If you mean that it will only tick over and there is no increase in revs when the accelerator is blipped, I would look at the connections on the "fly by wire" throttle control.
You can identify this by lifting the bonnet and getting someone to depress the accelerator. It is situated directly behind the battery and in front of the master cylinder. If connections are intact and the cable is moving the sensor then I would still suspect this unit.
If you mean the car lacks acceleration, then it could be a number of things such as a turbo boost pipe loose, or air in the fuel system etc.

Hardly anything to go on; but fuel or exhaust blockage come to mind. MORE DETAILS please! Will it even rev-up stationary?
