would any one know how i can reset the service light in my 04 fiat scudo 2.0jtd

A quick google found that it's the usual way as per a lot of manufacturers. That being,

turn key off, push and hold button on clocks (the trip odometer reset I imagine they're refering to), turn key on still holding button until it counts down to 0 on display.

Hopefully a 2004 Scudo won't be any different to a 2001 model.
