mondeo rattles please help - biff

i purchased a 2002 mondeo 1.8 lx 6 weeks ago. everything was great to start with but now i've got an annoying rattle coming from the dashboard, it seems to happen when the car gets warm . i know its something thats lose because it only happens when going over bumps and seems to be coming from the vent just under the windscreen. i also have a clicking noise coming from the area just under the tax disc, i thought this was a lose bit of trim but i've managed to stick this bit of trim back in place but it's still happening. has anyone else experienced this with a mondeo and can anyone help before i rip the dashboard out.

Cant help though suggest asking a dealer in case it is something obvious before you take the dash out.

Had the same problem with a new style FOCUS. At speed only. Found it to be the plastic batter cover rattled when the wind got under it at over 60mhp. Bit of sealant solved it.
