Rear brake caliper problem - Mazda 323 - J Bonington Jagworth
One of the rear calipers on our old ('90) Mazda 323F GT has begun to weep around the handbrake actuator. This is either a 5p O-ring or a whole new caliper - having had to replace the same caliper on my even older Audi a while back suggests the latter, but I'd welcome any inside knowledge.

It does seem that handbrakes and rear discs don't really mix - the only car I've had so far with rear discs that have behaved was a Citroen GS, whose handbrake operated on the front (inboard) discs, and had a separate mechanism and pads for the handbrake.

If I do have to get another caliper, can anyone suggest a good source? My local Mazda dealer wants £300...
