Don't know about Nankang's but have had very good reports about Kumho's (Korean). They are probably a similar price to Nankang. VW use them as OEM fitment, so can't be too bad....?

I have had khumo's on quick cars and heavily laden vans, all owned and driven by me and I can't fault them.

I had Nankang on my old car.
I found there was a very fine line between when they gripped and lost grip in the wet.
By that I mean there was no "inbetween" where there was under or oversteer, they either kept you on the road, or slid you out of control. Almost had 2 accidents due to this (and that wasnt even as excessive speed)
In the dry they were very good.
When it came to replacing them - had Kumho's fittd, and could not make them slide, dry or wet, whatever I did.
Car was an Escort.

Would you please post your size and speed rating....

My Alfa came supplied with Nankang's, can't remember the model sorry. They were terrible. As stated higher up the thread, the border between grip and no-grip was a very thin line, no progression, no warning, just going backwards on a roundabout. And that border was at a very low point too.

I've never used Nankang so can't comment on them. I can add my recommendation for Kumho Ecsta though.
