Hi
I have a new lexus IS250 with bridgestone tyres. The pressures are correct. On all but the smoothest roads the ride is very firm ( uncomfortable) and every little road blemish is noticeable. Would changing tyres to another brand make any difference ?I notice that the newest cars are being fitted with Dunlops NOt sure if this is intentional or just simply what Toyota buy in at the time when the cars are built.
Thanks

I have Bridgestone Turanza ER30's on my C Class - they're 55 profile front, and 55 rear. I haven't really got anything to compare it to, but despite running with the pressures on the low side, it feels like the car runs on steel tyres.
I have read that Bridgestone's are noted for stiff sidewalls - apparently tyre fitters hate fitting them. I need to change mine soon and have settled on Michelin Pilot Primacy. There is even a special, Mercedes Option, version of some size Primacy's which is apparently better riding.
