Toyota hi ace ignition key programming. - casblue
I have just purchased a new set of ignition and door locks with ecu immobiliser relay and diesel pump cut off valve from my local toyota dealership and have fitted them but now the vehicle will not start! Toyota tell me that the ignition keys need to be programmed by they will not give me any info on how to do this despite the locks costing over £400!
Can any one tell me how the keys are programmed?

The vehicle is a 1999 's' reg 2.4 diesel hi ace van.

They are not allowed to give you the codes,go to a indendant registered locksmith with coding equipment .He is allowed to purchase these codes for your vehicle and should charge you a lot less but still not cheap.The ecu may also need to be programmed as these normally come without any program preinstalled.
