I looking at buying a 12 Warrantee on a car I an considering. what companies do you know of that offer this service. Thanks Peter

I once bought a Montego Estate with a years warranty on.
When i wanted to make a claim on said warranty they asked if i had serviced the car per the manufacturers stipulations.
As it turned out i had (by chance) done a service at the right time, could i prove it?.
Well i had done the service myself so had no invoice from a garage, so i wrapped the oil filter and a generous amount of oil into a sealed bag and sent it to them.
Yah Boo to them.
ps anyone else finding these Kia adverts annoying ?.

Don't bother. Put the money into a car-repairs savings fund instead. If you need it, it's there; if you don't need it, you can spend it. The only claim I tried to make during four warranty years was rejected.
Change your oil frequently and get servicing done on the dot, and you'll minimize, if not eliminate, most problems.

Any companies that you can recommend. Regards Peter

Peter - Not being cheeky, but a good start would be to have a look just to the left of your first and last posts ....

wouldnt recommend any of them..they only cover actual breakages...and will wriggle out of anything likely to be "wear and tear"
i havnt ever been able to claim on any of the warrantees that were on any car i bought
the best i ever had was an audi "guarentee" which was fantastic..
but that was £500 a yr
