What's a good tyre in terms of mileage/cost to stick on a Mondeo Diesel Estate?
Presently fitted with 185/65/14 Avon CR322 on all 4 corners but having swapped front to rear about 8K ago i doubt that the front have another 3K left in them, they did 10K on the rear beforehand with no obvious wear.
I can get replacement "Avons" form MyTyres and fited locally for about £31 a corner.
Doubt that i'll fit them again. To only get 11K when fitted to the front does not make it economically viable.Anyone got a recommendation?

I fit Kleber 185 65 15s on my Xantia, about the same size. Cost £50 each. Just had fronts replaced after 22000 miles. Very quiet tyre.

Are those Kleber Dynaxer HP( £36.80 each) or Protectis (£47.30)?
What about Vredestein seem to have good German auto test reports and at the price (£34.10 each) can't be beaten, anybody confirm if the reports are a true representation.
Michelin are coming in at £55, are they worth that extra?

Dynaxter HP2. Can,t comment on the Vredstein, haven't used them. I think Kleber are Michelin made in Austria. The Kleber tread pattern is very similar to the Michelins still soldiering on on the back.
