Front fogs problem - 1982 Granada - RichardP
Hi,
Never actually used them to be honest, but I discovered the front fogs have stopped working on my 1982 Granada. The relay mounted on the inner wing 'clicks' but there's no light! However I noticed that for a while when they were switched on, there sometimes was a delay and they came on 1 to 2 seconds later - could it be a sticky relay?
All other lamps including the aux driving lamps work fine but I'm not too good with electrics, so any pointers would be much appreciated!
The car will be going for it's mot soon, would it fail on non-working front fogs?

If the relay for the fog lamps is mounted on the inner wing panel,then I would think they were not factory fitted,although the lamps themselves could be Ford aftermarket equipt.If this is a 4-pin relay check the power supply to pin 30 .This usually comes direct from battery positive.Aux front driving or fog lamps are not part of the Mot.Rear fog light is.
