MOT Failure - emissions - fiesta 1.3i

MOT Failure - emissions - fiesta 1.3i - pcmd1970
My car (94 fiesta 1.3 injection) has just failed it's MOT on CO emissions by quite a way, it's meant to have <0.3 CO and mine scores 2.7/2.8. Is there anything I can do before it goes back on Monday eg injection cleaner? and/or what are the most likely causes eg is it my cat has gone - thanks for any help - Paul

I was thinking further about this and if my cat was gone wouldn't I expect to fail on HCs also? full results below - Paul

Fast Idle
RPM= 2948 OK, CO=2.75 Fail, HC = 133 OK, Lambda = 0.983 OK

Second Fast Idle
RPM=2999 OK, CO=2.69 Fail, HC=152 OK, Lambda = 1.003 OK

Natural Idle
RPM = 883 OK, CO = 3.21 Fail

Should also have said that many modern engines have HC(even Valencia/HCS) in the 100/400ppm. without a cat.
