I saw a 55 reg vehicle bowling along with a flyer flapping under the windscreen wiper.
I got a glimpse of the flyer and it was for MOTs.
That made me smile.
Does a simple event like that ease your journey?

Wow, that's something. I wonder what exactly packed up (and why).

Not necessarily. For the chauffeur - yes. For the dealership - yes. The passenger probably just popped out, jumped into the copter and vanished.

Late one evening in the late 50s I was battling up the M5 on my old motorcycle combination doing 60 into a headwind when a Bentley whispered by doing I don't know how much. I was envious to say the least. But a few miles further on I passed the chauffeur walking back. Now that was a moment.

Watching a Subaru blast past me last winter on snakespass near sheffield at 90+ MPH then watching him slam his brakes on at the last second before a sharp bend up ahead, cock it all up and roll the car, .... Made me laugh for weeks. He seemed ok though, but very red faced, we then got held up in the Jam for about 2 hours whil old bill cleared everything up!

Chilling out on the journey home (I stick to 60 for the majority as I don't like heading onto the A3 at 70 on a cold engine) and watching people go flying down the fast lane at 90+, then seeing them after about 10 - 15 minutes sitting in the same patch of slow traffic as me...
