Hello all.

I am looking to purchase salvage vehicles from auction in the South East area (I live in Brighton) and was wodnering if anyone was aware of any that are around this area.

Any information would be greatly valued and appreciated.

A recent thread on a similar subject seemed to concurr that such purchases were rarely economical for the DIY mechanic any more.

Make sure you don't pay over the odds for it - depending on what needs doing. The better deals tend to be the stolen and recovered that have not suffered significant or any damage.

only buy light frontal damage.

stolen recovery is the best option.

Yep stolen recovered is the way to go also consider repos with no v5 and minor damage and scratches as they are not classed as C or D so no VIC needed. There should also be no finance outstanding so small profit to made. Just a thought

Hi Greg,

I remember when I lived over in Lancing seeing lots of ads for an auction place in Shoreham. Not got any more info than that for you sorry, but I know a few friends went there a few times to get some cars.
