we are haiving a dispute inthe office.

can someone declare what is required when u buy a car which is category d to get it on the road?

at this time of the night (and after several cans of Mr Artois's finest) i can't remember fully but it doesn't need to undergo the vehicle safety check if that is what your discussing

AFAIK it just needs an MOT if over three years old. Normally the insurer keeps or destroys this when vehicle sent to salvage.

Doesn't need the VIC - Vehicle Identity Check
