The law works sometimes! - mare
I spotted this item in the local paper. Stopped by police and subsequently a spell in jail for driving while disqualifed.

A story to counter the doom and gloom merchants who claim that people who get caught driving while disqualified don't get dealt with adequately. Five months seems quite stiff to me!

He wasn't just caught driving while banned. He was caught driving while serving a ban for drink-driving, a ban that he'd earned while *already* serving a ban for drink driving.

In other words, he was able to drink-drive while banned for drink-driving, and still only get another ban. Hardly an example of being 'dealt with adequately'.
