Well, I've got my 306 DTurbo running again after an engine transplant (I dont ever want to have to do that again!) but I have a problem with a noticeable amount of diesel smoke when its off boost. The diesel pump I am using is a Lucas off my old dead engine which I know is fine. I have played around with rotating the pump one way then the other to alter the timing in small increments but cant seem to find a happy compromise. I have come to the conclusion that I need to have it timed properly.
I went into my Pug dealer to ask how much they wanted, and after 5 mins of faffing around in the workshop, I got an answer - "thats a very complicated proceedure sir, even the technicians are scared to touch them" and he then priced himself out of a job by quoting 4 hours @ £69 ph! Yeah righto.
Anyway, I've searched the web with little success, what I am after is a peugeot specialist in Kent who will be able to do this job for me.
Does anyone have any reccomendations? or do you happen to have the 'Pug special tool' for sale???
Cheers
Jon

I can't recommend anyone in your area but if you come over to www.psooc.co.uk i'm sure a local member can recommend someone for you.
Also try www.dervdoctor.co.uk - he's a pug diesel guru.
