I have a 52 reg Vauxhall vectra c which has Bridgestone Turanza tyres. All the tyres have excessive wear on the inner wall, vauxhall says there was a fault on the tyres but dont want anything to do with them, and say ring Bridgestone. This is on quite a few vectras in the 02 52 range.
Can anybody offer any advice

It could be tracking out of alignment, or worn bushes, how many miles has the car done

The cars done 23.000mls but ive seen lots of vectra c's with abnormal wear on the back tyres on 02 52 reg and 03. Vauxhall state its the flty tyres. All our Managers fleet cars are vectra c's and they are all wearing . It cant be the bushes on all surely?

My friends son's Signum also experiences tyre wear on the inner edges on the rears. I *think* that maybe some of it is down to the suspension geometry, in that to improve the handling the vertical camber is bias outwards at the bottom of the track; the downside being inner tyre wear though.
As I previously stated though, I would find somewhere that does 4 wheel laser allignment.

I've got Bridgestone Turanza's fitted to my Vectra-C, registered Jan 04, and haven't noticed any abnormal tyre wear on any of the tyres.
On my previous Vectra-B, one of the rear tyres wore on the inner edge. Fault traced to a worn suspension bush, which can be a common problem. Same *might* apply to the Vectra-C.
I would go to somewhere that does 4 wheel laser alignment, such as ATS, and ask them to check it over for you.

I my experience the Bridgestone is a pretty good tyre - I would suspect alignment problems first.
