Peugeot 405 water in diesel HELP! - Louise Baffert
Hi, can anyone please help. I have a peugeot 405 diesel, 1993. The light on the dashboard for the water trap has came on but I can't see where to drain it? I know I should just go and buy a haynes manual but thought I'd ask on here first. Many thanks, LB :o)

Don't worry too much, they are usually over sensitive. The one on my 309 has been flickering on an off for months.

On mine there is a small horizontal spigot off the fuel filter housing, near the bottom (of course) and at the front. Like a stub about 5-6mm dia, with a wheel/knob around it. Turn anticlockwise

I would wait until daylight

The fuel filter acts as a water trap. Change the fuel filter.
