Knocking from rear wheels. Honda Prelude - Truckersunite
I have just noticed a knocking coming from the rear wheels of a '93 Honda Prelude 4WS, It hasn't been used for about a week and my own view is that it just a bit of rust bulid up on the discs. It increases in frequency as you accelerate but seems to be getting a bit quieter then it was before a short drive. The car has 180k on the clock and has been almost trouble free for that time. Any ideas would be greatfully received.

If the handbrake works on the rear discs, then does pulling the handbrake on slightly as you're going along alter the noise ?

Didn't think to try handbrake, but if I left foot brake then it goes away, hence why my thoughts about rust build up. Will try handbrake later. thanks.
