Advice sought again.
Having previously sought advice on a new car, I'm due to pick it up in the next week or so and will be selling my Seat Toledo privately.
It's a 2001 Y reg
It's got 132,000 miles on.
Full Service History
Decent conditon, save for a few stone chips at the front due to spending its life on the motorway.
Sat Nav included - as it was ex demo.
It will be sold with 12 month MOT (due to go it tomorrow) and 6 months tax.
I've checked the price guide on Autotrader and it suggests that it's worth £3600 for a private sale. To be honest, I'd be over the moon to get that for it. However, having checked the trader for cars of that age / mileage, it seems about right.
What do others think - is it worth that much and will anyone realistically pay that much.
Thanks

Petrol or diesel? These are not as popular in petrol form, so £3600 about right, if it is a diesel, which model?
|
Sorry, forgot to mention that!!.
It's a diesel - 1.9 TDI SE.
|
Manual or auto (don't think the diesel came in auto but not sure)?
Colour?
|
Manual.
Red (well a bit crimson really, but the V5 says red).

Red not a popular colour for these cars. High mileage puts off the punters, motorway or no (and lets not have that debate again) I would say if anoyone offer you £3,000 pull their arms off.
