No Log Book - an issue? - AK76
Hi everyone. Good to have joined - hope it will be fruitful!!

I am off to auction tomorrow having been to 4 before but never bought and now ready to buy!.

Anyway, there seems to be a few cars on Auctionview that say there is no logbook with the car.

Is this a big issue or can i buy one and just get a new v5 from dvla?

Any help/advice greatly appreciated.

Why is it missing - kept by insurance company after writeoff??

Well it depends what you're doing with the car.

Clearly the first issue is that you can't tax it until you get the new V5.
