New Government Motorcycle Strategy - NARU

I notice that there is a new motorcycle strategy published. Some good points, but a disappointing line on diesel spills. Apparently a motorcyclist is 25 times more likely to die than a car driver, and 5 times more likely than a cyclist.

There must be an election round the corner! (I remember the pictures of Tony Blair sitting on a bike at the NEC show, and then the government doing nothing on the big issues).

I agree election on 5th May then nothing. IMHO motorcyles to be allowed in bus lanes is a must. Very succesful in Reading.
