Robert, did you also wire in the reverse light and interior light to the mirror when you fitted it to your Omega? Reason being is that if you select reverse or open the drivers door, the mirror should revert back to normal. ie, un-dim itself.

No i didnt bother with those circuits but it works well but i did check all the connections from VX and they did say same as you but it is no detriment soon as the light source disapears from rear view it brightens back up i did connect reverse light contact (with mirror of car) and it did brighten back up but not fully and the cental locking circuit it brighten fully so when i thought about it, it was not two much of a problem as i would not be looking in mirror if i was getting out of car granted i could be looking in mirror if was reversing but it would mean running a feed from rear or tracing into loom i decided not to.

Oh and by the way i have had it on over a year now with no trouble whatsoever it was very simple job it took no more than 15 mins only trouble was idetifing the feeds as there was quite a few i did write them down in the wiring diagram in the haynes but i cant recall which ones they were with out checking
Memory seats (not needed)
