how do i centralise the steering wheel in my 1994 punto 75 SX

Have you by any chance just had the tracking checked? It sounds as if someone has adjusted it the easy way by only screwing one of the track rods, rather than both by equal amounts.

Or you've put the tracking out of line by hitting a kerb or bump.
