valuation please - high miles A4? - adverse camber
Hi

you may have seen my post about looking for a new large estate. I am going to be getting rid of a silver 1997 A4 tdi (110) SE Avant, with 140000 miles on the clock. Looking on auto trader people are asking £5K upwards for similar vehicles (or older but slightly lower miles). This seems quite high to me (although Im not going to complain!) Its well maintained (although not at main dealers) the susp arms have been done, t.belt at 120k, brakes/radiator in last 10k.

What do you think would be reasonable as a private sale or a trade in ?

See a lot of these on ebay, they seem popular. Set a sensible starting bid, and it will probably reach £3K. The fact its not got FASH will affect its value, but the mileage seems right for one of these, and won't put people off in the know! Cant remember if climate control standard on the SE, if its not got C/C, then dont expect as much interest.
